Newborn editing video- come join me behind the scenes!
Updated: Jan 13, 2020
My philosophy and vision for my newborn photography is "pure and simple". I aim to keep everything within my business pure and simple- from my studio, my style of photography, my packages and my editing.
I feel the white colour palette I use in all my images compliments the baby's pure and delicate nature and by keeping the whole images simple it means that the main focus is always baby!
By keeping my editing in sync with my business philosophy it means I can get the best turn around time for your beautiful galleries!
I aim to have your gallery with you within a week of your session with me- I personally dislike waiting for things (I love amazon prime same day delivery!) and I understand that you are so eager to see your images!
My edits are- pure and simple. I do not drastically change the babies appearance- I want baby to look how they looked on the day! I will take out small blemishes and pull a little bit of red from their skin, and then fill in the background, add a bit of brightness, adjust the colour balance to get my signature white images and that is usually enough.
If baby has flakey skin or their little cord clamp still attached I will not usually take those things out unless specifically asked. I feel it really adds to how newborn they were when they came of their session. Especially their adorable flakey feet!
I would love to invite you to come behind the scenes and see a video of me editing a image from Annabelle's session-
I hope this is an interesting insight into the process your images go through before reaching you in your gallery!
